Factory tours
Visitors can experience up close the effort and love invested by our employees when working with the raw wool. The old-fashioned machines are quite an eye-catcher. Most of them originate from the first half of the 20th century. The advantage of these tried and tested machines is their gentle treatment of the wool. One example is that, on sunny days, you can often see a 50 m long loden fibre fluttering in the wind. Just as in the old days, the materials are dried in the fresh air.
Individual tours
Everyone who wants to get an insight into how loden production works is free to walk around the factory during production hours.A guiding thread will help you along the way to the different production areas. The information boards are available in German and English.

Guided tours for groups of 20+ people
We offer an approx. 45 minute tour for companies, groups and associations. After a short introduction you can experience production from the raw wool right up to the finished loden. The tour concludes in the generous 500 m² salesroom. You can peruse and try all of the products with no obligation to purchase and, of course, buy your own at a fair ex works price. We recommend to allow 1.5 hours for your entire stay. In addition there is also the opportunity to sample some superb Styrian specialities in our restaurant. A special menu is available for coach groups.
Please note, guided tours and lunch are only available for registered groups!

Shop Ramsau
In our in-house salesroom boasting over 500 m2 you can find timeless fashion that has braved the wind, weather and trends for years. Our product line-up ranges from traditional classics, durable sports and leisure wear to Schladming socks and accessories such as our new wool blankets.
The loden for all our products is produced exclusively in the Ramsau Lodenwalke. The entire collection is sewn at our in-house tailor shop and our tailor shop in Wildon, Styria. We sell our products at an especially fair ex works price in our salesroom or via our online shop. On request we offer clothing for groups, teams etc.
Alterations
We can make small alterations on site at our in-house tailors free of charge. Prices for elaborate alterations depend on the amount of work involved. Upon agreement, we can gladly repair any of your loden products that have become a little long in the tooth (we only accept clean and no third-party products).

We also have a comfy restaurant for our guests. Be it a quick refreshment or a hearty meal, we have got something for everyone. In addition to á la carte dining we also offer coach groups the opportunity to add a little culinary delight to their trip.
We kindly ask coach trips and groups to register in advance. We have prepared a separate menu especially for you.
